Fiddlehead Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand
Fiddlehead Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand - A lively aroma of grapefruit, lime and gooseberry with a delicate herbal note. Followed by rich flavours of passionfruit, kiwi and zesty citrus with a mouth-watering fresh finish.
The grapes were harvested in the early morning to retain their fresh fruit character. They were then gently pressed, followed by cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with no oak or malolactic fermentation to retain a fresh fruit character and a brief period of ageing on ne lees before bottling.
The Gisborne region is one of the rst places in the world to see the dawn of a new day. The wines produced here are bright fruit focused and show the result of lots of sunshine and cooling sea breezes. The grapes are sourced from vineyards with fertile river silt over deep loam, their fertility and water retention mean all vineyards are dry farmed with no additional water needed over the growing period, making this a naturally sustainable farming region.
