Araldica, Cortese, Piemont, Italy
AS SEEN IN DECANTER MAGAZINE SEPTEMBER - WEEKDAY WINES..'EXCITING AND ACCESSIBLE.
'A brilliant white to have on standby this summer. Pretty, lifted aromas of nectarine, green apple and blossoms that continue on the soft, creamy palate. Not complex, but very tasty, from the fine castelvero cooperative'.
Araldica, Cortese, Piemont, Italy - Made from the Cortese grape (the same grape variety that makes the iconic wine Gavi) this wine is really delicious, it's crisp and fresh and offers terrific value for money.
It has fresh fruit aromas of ripe grapefruit with lovely citrus notes; zingy, juicy and crisp with lemon and lime flavours and mineral touches, it finishes with gently zesty acidity. It is made in the Monferrato hills in the south of the province of Asti, Piemonte, North West Italy.
Great with simple fish dishes, a spring salad or perhaps grilled goats cheese with red pepper with fresh basil.
Sold in cases of six bottles
