Domaine Henry Pelle Menetou-Salon Morogues - This wine shows what good value can be found in the lesser known 'appellation' of Menetou-Salon located to the west of Sancerre. A fresh quite delicious Sauvignon Blanc. It's a really zesty and racy wine.

This shining star of the Loire valley produces wines of world renown. The grapes for Menetou-Salon Morogues are sourced from six different parcels of vineyard that are all planted in Kimmeridgian limestone-clay marl soil which imparts elegant mineral tones. The wine is fresh and floral with aromas of citrus and blackcurrant leaves.

Serve nicely chilled before or at the beginning of a meal but also with shellfish or delicate white fish, especially with a creamy parsley or dill sauce.
