Ontanon Clarete Pale rose - Pale pink in colour with lifted red berry aromas and delicate fruit characters. The palate is fresh, bright and appealing with rosehip and red berry fruits, balancing citrus acidity and an elegant, dry finish.

Clarete is an officially classified style of Rosado - well-known within Rioja but almost never found outside the region. Clarete is vinified as for a red wine, with short skin contact during fermentation. Traditionally it is a blend of Viura with Tempranillo or Garnacha - and typically has lifted, floral aromas - clean and bright on the palate. A dry, pale and elegant style of rosé.
