Parada de Atauta

You can't go too far wrong with this juicy and concentrated Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from the rugged high altitude Dominio de Atauta estate in eastern Ribera del Duero. This is made from their youngest vines ... but then again their youngest vines have an average age of 60 years!

Parada de Atauta - A warm, spicy, open nose with intense black fruit, juicy black cherries, mocha and baked earth characters. The palate has a good structure, concentrated fruit, cedar and minerality with perfumed violets to the finish.
