Juan Gil Blue Label Monastrell

Juan Gil Blue Label Monastrell - Juan Gil Blue Label is another powerful red from the masters of Jumilla Monastrell! Pronounced nose of black fruits, spice box with some balsamic, earthy characters. The palate is complex with more concentrated, rich and ripe black fruit flavours and warm spices, backed by fine tannins and great length. A powerful red capable of further development in bottle.

Produced from low-yielding, old vine Monastrell - plus additional Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. All planted at around 700m altitude. Fermented in small, 5 ton, tanks followed by malolactic fermentation in French and American oak barrels. The separate wines are aged for around 18 months and then blended.
