Tenuta Serranova Susumaniello
Tenuta Serranova Susumaniello - Pronounced plum and black cherry aromas, with ripe dark fruits on the palate and supple tannins balancing juicy acidity, spice and floral characters.
Susumaniello is indigenous to the Brindisi region of Puglia but had lately been overlooked. Tenuta Serranova saw the potential of this juicy, characterful grape and planted 10 hectares. We're glad they did!
The Susumaniello vines are planted in sandy / clay soils on the Tenuta Serranova estate. Fermentation and maceration takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures for 15 days, followed by malolactic fermentation. Refined in concrete and bottle before release.
