Ascesa Rosso di Valtellina - Ascesa Rosso di Valtellina is intense, elegant and complex, typical of the Nebbiolo grape. With floral notes of rose and violet and fruity hints of cherry and plum, combined with fine spicy aromas. On the palate it presents beautiful freshness, harmonious structure and a complex and persistent finish.

The Ascesa Rosso di Valtellina hails from the extreme mountainous north of Italy. It is grown on south-facing sunny terraces at elevations up to 1800 feet. All work is completely done by hand due to the rocky terrain and 40 degree slopes. No oak is used, giving full expression to the Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) grape.
