Les Volets Malbec IGP Haute Vallee de l’Aude -  A joyful expression of Malbec from higher altitude vineyards.

Vibrant garnet hues gleam out of the glass and invite one to explore further. The first notes on the nose are of mulberries, and then develop on to reveal redcurrant and blackcurrant aromas. There is that intriguing bitter-sweet character of crème de cassis with a touch of underlying parma violets.

The taste profile is equally intriguing and enticing. Complex without being clumsy, extremely fine red- fruit flavours fill the mouth, raspberries come to the fore and are backed up with a touch of buttery chocolate truffle richness. A mid-weight harmonious wine, an expression of purity and youthful fruitiness.
