Les Heritiers Saint-Genys En Ruyere AOP Morgon - This famous Beaujolais cru is perhaps the most 'Burgundian' of the Beaujolais vintages. The winery say it has "the Charm of a Burgundy and the fruit of a Beaujolais"!

Located to the west of the hamlet of Morgon, in the southernmost part of the appellation, the 2.95 hectare vineyard is on a gently sloping hillside, facing south-east, and at an altitude of 350-400 metres. The vines are of average age 50 years, cultivated in very stony soils marked by erosion, which gives the wine the fleshy fruitiness of Burgundy and the rich and fine expression of Burgundy.
